Liftstar® hydraulic manriding winches come in three capacities. LS2-150HLP is designed to lift a person in a safety harness or boatswain's chair. The LS500HLP and LS1000HLP are designed to lift a person by means of a personnel rated platform, basket or carrier. All of these winches carry the pertinent European Community (EC) type examinations or Declarations of Incorporation.
These winches have gone through rigorous third party design reviews and type examinations, if required, by DNV ( Det Norske Veritas).
